Wanted to share a story with you.
On Friday (yesterday), the High School counselors were out to speak with my 9th graders. They had lots of questions, but one is destined to become a classic.
One of the boys raised his hand and said he had been looking over the plans for the new high school under construction, and wanted to know what a "Detention Basin" was. Seems it's about 5 acres on the map, and he thought it was some area they put kids who get in trouble.
Thought everyone could use a chuckle tonight. I know I've enjoyed telling the story this weekend.

What an intense day today was. I'm kinda worried about the research; Have no earthly idea what I'll be doing it on and/or with. Might help if I knew what & where I was teaching next year, but that's a different issue.
I'm tired tonight. Guess last night and tonight really took it out of me.
Hope all is doing well tonight.
